Course Overview: This course introduces students to the study of the real number system and its properties including the different operations on integers, fractions, and decimals. It aims to develop students’ skills in solving problems through the study of expressions, equations and inequalities. Emphasis is placed on making connections in algebra to arithmetic, geometry, and statistics. Critical thinking skills and computer technologies are essential components in this course. |
